If you chose to start out in Diamond Falls on Spring 2 of Year 1 Bishop with send you an Iron Pickaxe in the mail. You don't have to know him or do anything special this will just happen. It is a perk of choosing to start out at Diamond Falls.

Monthly Shipping Quotas[]
For shipping Quotas you receive the value of the item being shipping plus a bonus if the quota for said item is filled.
For example: Shipping Quota that asks for 10 Potatoes, You get 30g for the Potatoes & 100g for turning in all 10.
You only need to check 5 things off the list each month to get an extra bonus, if you check them all off there is no further bonus it will just make things harder for the next corresponding season.
Year 1, Spring
After you complete 5 out of 8 quotas the Mayor will send you an extra 1000g (500g if on casual mode) and a Gold Harvesting Sickle!
